Mothers Rings

Mothers rings serve as a memorial for the life of a mother. The typical design includes the birthstones for all of a women’s children. Mothers rings may also include the birthstones of grandchildren (also referred to as a grandmothers ring).
While traditionally mothers rings were very simple, just 2 wedding rings joined by the birthstones, you can now find many unique designs. I recently had the pleasure of working with Leah Ashley Designs, who were able to create a fantastic custom mothers ring.
Mothers Ring Designs
Leah Ashley Designs is a small jewelry store based in Omaha, Nebraska that sells jewelery online. They use computers to custom design all of their pieces. This allowed them to show me a variety of mothers ring designs, and allowed me to offer feedback so that the ring could be designed to look exactly how I wanted it. The finished piece was beautiful, and didn’t cost me any more then the boring cookie-cutter designs found in typical jewelry stores such as Borsheims.
